Glock 43 Magazine Capacity - Deciding between Glock 43X vs 43? We will be doing a Glock 43x comparison and contrast Glock 43 review to help you decide between the 43x vs 43.

Glock can often be a step behind the concealed carry brand for better or worse. In this Glock G43x review, we will cover all the pros and cons of these guns.

If you are looking for a full review of the Glock 43X MOS, we have that on our blog as well.

Around The Block With The Glock 43

The bad news is that they can take the time to come up with a small single stack 9mm to compete with literally every other manufacturer on the market. The good news is that they take their time, and when it comes to crafting a new weapon, they always seem to work.

The Glock43 debuted to critical acclaim and has become one of Glock's most popular handguns. 43 was the first 9mm, single-stack, subcompact Glock pistol ever released. The Glock 43 was an instant winner in the concealed carry market and has now sold over a million different models.

The Glock 43X is the latest in the Glock family, and it's a little odd. To go below the X series, you have to go back to the 19X, which was the weapon introduced into the Army's new weapons program. The 19X lost, but it became a popular weapon, selling over 100,000 a year. Due to the great reviews of the Glock g43, the Glock 43 has now sold over a million pistols.

Combine the two and you get the new Glock 43X. The G19X is a compact shot of the Glock 19 on the full frame Glock 17. The Glock 43X uses the same slide and barrel of the G43, but an extended frame that offers a full grip.

Higher Capacity Magazine Options For G43 ?

Both guns are compact, both are 9mm, and both are glocks, so which gun is better? More importantly, what is better for you?

The dimensions of the Glock 43 make it an adorable mini Glock. It's designed almost exactly like every other Glock, just scaled down. It is shorter and thinner than any other 9mm Glock. It completely lacks finger grooves and only has rear serrations. Glock guns are best described as spartan. They are simple, but visually impressive. The frame is of course polymer and the slide is all black and has a Glock 43 black nitride finish.

The black nitride surface has proven to be extremely hard and very durable. Glock pistols are used by police and military forces around the world, and you won't hear any complaints on the surface. It destroys wear and generally resists corrosion and rust well.

The finish is robust and functional at the same time. It's a great finish for a gun that will likely sit close to the body and holstered for most of its life.

Glock Model 43 9mm With Trijicon Hd Sights, Apex/ghost Trigger Package, Mag Extension, And More

The Glock 43X has gone in a completely different direction and you see something that differs well from the dimensions of the Gloxk 43. The G43X uses an nPVD coating that has also proven to be strong, durable and corrosion resistant.

The main difference is that the PVD finish is silver and gives the gun a distinctive look. This makes it stand out from the standard all-black Glock. In addition, the G43X has serrations at the front, which are missing from standard Glock 43 dimensions.

If I had to pick a pistol that would fit exactly and finish it would be the 43X Glock. I'm a fan of the stainless look and this new gun looks great. The finish is rock solid as well, giving it a unique look in the world of Glocks.

The Glock 48 is another Glock with the same look as the Glock 43X; it's just a touch bigger. We also have a full Glock 48 vs Glock 43X comparison on our blog.

Glock 43 9mm 6 Round Magazine

Although these guns are very similar and even have the same model number, they are completely different. The G43X is larger compared to the size of the G43 and this is due to the increased length of the handle. The G43X is 5.04 inches tall and the G43 is a shorter 4.25 inches.

This gives you more grip with the G43X and also more capacity than the G43. Glovk 43x has ten rounds plus 1 in the barrel. The G43 holds six rounds with one in the barrel.

A shorter grip also makes it easier to conceal the weapon, giving you an advantage when it comes to having a smaller body type or wearing lighter clothing. As for weight, surprisingly the G43X is barely heavier, I mean a fraction of an ounce. The G43X weighs 18 ounces and the Glock G43 weighs 17.99 ounces unloaded. After loading, we see a much larger difference between 10 and six rounds.

Glock 43 Magazine Capacity

The G43X weighs 23.07 ounces loaded and the 43 weighs 20.64 ounces. One interesting difference is the width of the G43X versus the width of the Glock 43. It is 0.04 inches thicker than the G43. It's an odd addition, but it's there.

Glock 43 +3 Taran Tactical Magazine Extension

The G43 and G43X are still small guns with the G43 barrel length being 3.41 inches and the Glock x43 being longer at 6.5 inches overall. The overall length of the Glock 43 is 6.26 inches.

The G43's smaller design and lighter weight certainly make it more attractive to those who struggle to carry a larger gun. The Micro Nine could even be a pocket gun. The G43X is more suitable for those who like an easy-to-shoot weapon. We cover all of that in this Glock G43 review.

Taking one out of the box will mostly lead to the claim that the G43X is better in the ergonomics department. A longer grip fills the hand and prevents the little finger from hanging off the end of the handle.

It is very similar to the Sig P365XL in this regard. Despite being a very thin grip, it is still long enough to give you a full grip. Check out our Sig P365XL vs Glock 43X comparison on our blog.

Glock 43 Vs. 19: Which Should You Choose?

This makes the gun more comfortable and ergonomic in general. Easier to hold, point and direct. The larger g43 grips give you a bit more grip than a standard grip and make the gun easier to draw.

They say that once you holster the gun, the bigger grip becomes a bigger gun to conceal. The dimensions of the Glock 43 make it easy to conceal, and with the correct rosette mag, it fits comfortably in your hand.

Both rifles have reversible magazine release buttons for either a right or left handed shooter, as well as a rear slide, trigger safety, and a nice little slide cap.

Glock 43 Magazine Capacity

I'm not a huge fan of the Glock slide lock and find it too small and too easy to squeeze with a good grip. The G43X has serrations on the glass, which the G43 does not. The G43X also has a beaver built into the frame, which I love.

Concealed Carry Corner: Glock G43 Vs G43x By The Numbers The Firearm Blog

The standard Gock 43 has a bad habit of eating my hand with a slithering bite. The addition of the beaver on the G43X adds a layer of protection between your hand and the glass. I never caught a shot when shooting the Goock 43X. The beavertail also adds another level of control to the gun, especially when it comes to muzzle flipping.

The final difference is the trigger distance. The new Glock G43 has a shorter 2.56-inch trigger pull compared to the longer 2.64 inches of the G43X.

Another factor to consider is hand strength. An interesting tidbit is that people with reduced hand strength find it easier to hold the G43X because it has more grip. The slide also seemed to be a bit easier to store than the original Glock 43 gen 4.

The G43 was Glock's first foray into the single stack nine category, and as a small gun, it's not heavy on features. It still has the Glock safety system with three different fuses as well as the Glock polymer magazine. The G43X and G43 share most of the same features.

Strike Industries Enhanced Magazine Extension

This includes the aforementioned reversible magazine release, Glock sights, smooth Gen 5 grooveless grip, and an overall low profile.

The Glock 43X happens to have a Gen 5 marksman barrel. It is a matchlock barrel that has proven to be extremely accurate and reliable.

The G43X will also have a highly visible tracer that is quick and easy to see when checking the magazine load. Witness holes make it easy to see the bright orange tracker.

Glock 43 Magazine Capacity

In addition, the Glock 43X has serrations in the front, which we don't usually see on a Glock pistol (although many people believe that Glock will start including them on more pistols).

Ets Glock 43

Neither rifle will have a trace, but in talking with Crimson Trace I found out that the Laserguard designed for the G43 fits the G43X. Unfortunately, aftermarket magazines that fit the G43 will not fit the G43X, and the G43 will not be able to accept the longer G43X magazines. Glock

glock 43 magwell

glock 43 magwell

Glock 43 Magwell - By Jeff Gurwitch on July 20, 2021 With another review of Tyrant Designs products, this time of their Glock Magwell. I've had a Gen-3 Glock 17 and a Gen-5 Glock 19 (G19) for about three months, and have been very pleased with the results so far. Made of machined aluminum, in a variety of colors, and available for Glock Gen 3, 4, and 5, they offer three different versions that allow a magwell to be adapted to the following models: G43X/48 /19/23/17/ 22/31/34/35/45. Two Glock Magwells were tested, one for the Gen-3 G17 (w/Adams Arms Enforcer slide) and one for the Gen-5 G19. Also note the base Tyrant plus-5 for the G19. Even if you are not a competitive shooter, you can definitely benefit from running a flared magazine on your gun. Being able to reload quickly and easily can give you the edge you may need in a tactical or defensive situation. The last thing you want to do is try to find the magwell opening during a slide-lock reload while facing a hazard, or multiple hazards. The two I received came in black, as requested. One was for my Gen-3 G17 (Glock 17) that I use for 2-Gun and 3-Gun competitions. The second was for my Gen-5 G19, which is my primary everyday (EDC) handgun. Both do an excellent job of opening the magwell with a large flare, and filling the small cutout in the backstrap. They are both secured by an Allen screw that can be ordered in black or gold. The laser engraving indicates which Glock generation and model the miguels carry. Nice touch. Now, I know it wasn't meant for this, but one for my G19 (which is a prime with a front cutout), but the front of the magwell covers 95% of the front cutout. So, if one is pinched by cutouts, this magazine covers everything, eliminating the problem properly. Transition to the backstrap of a Glock and fill the space, the fit is great. FIT AND PERFORMANCE I found that both Glock Magwells pull designs worked very well, opening the magwell which in turn made it easier to start (load) the magazine into the gun. This naturally translates into faster recharges. An important factor I look for in extended and flared magazine wells is that if they extend too far around the pistol grip, the chances of a print increase (ie, being seen by others). too high Generally large and polite. Fortunately, this is not the case with Tyrant. In terms of aesthetics, i.e., the look of the gun, I think they both have a "cool factor". Also, they don't stay in place like the giant magazine funnels on the real open stock pistols found in the USPSA/IPSC. Now, with the G19, I found the top edge of the mag well sticking out a bit under my grip. I don't have the biggest hands in the world, but I wear sizes L to XL in gloves (5 in military size). The main selling points are the price, at $69.95 USD you get an aluminum mag wheel, which works well and matches the gun well. Compare that to many others that average just over $100 dollars and do nothing extra. That is why this is now my fifth Tyrant Designs product review. They offer the best quality at the best price, or great bang for the buck. While I was given items to try and review, as I mentioned before in other articles, I also went out and bought more items that I reviewed at regular price. Example: Tyrant Designs extended magazine release. After receiving one to try out for my own review, I bought a few more at regular price to put in all my Glocks. That's how much I like this product. Tyrant designs the Glock Magwell to be compatible with Tyrant's Plus-5 stock. Note the Tyrant's Extended Mag catch on the G19. The Wrap Up Once again, Tyrant Designs has come up with a great product to improve the performance of the shooter. Their Glock magazine works well, looks great, and is very competitively priced compared to other options. So, how do you fit in? Simple Do you need to recharge as soon as possible? Look no further than the cruel design. Tags: Glock, 43, G43, Model 43, 9MM, Special Black, Cut Slide, Gold Sights, 8 and 6 Bullets, 2 Magazines, Pistol, Pistol, Handgun is an early adopter philosophy especially when it comes to mechanical devices. So when the Glock 43 was released in mid-2015, I wasn't finished and bought one. Fresh in my mind are some issues with 4th Gen Glocks - particularly on the 9mm (how many of our readers suffer from "face-to-face" issues?). Knowing that Glock tends to value its reputation and provide quick fixes to problems with their product, I decided to wait a bit.

Likewise, I never thought of a role that the Glock 43 would fill immediately. The Glock 19 and 26 meet my primary concealed carry needs with a Ruger LCP that meets my NPE requirements.

After the Glock 43's release, the only criticism I read regularly (mechanically) was that it was too heavy compared to its larger 9mm brethren. My understanding is that Glock has made it a bit lighter/smoother with a different connector, but some still complain about it (according to the manufacture date, mine has the original). Some criticisms are about its size (some say the full .380 ACP Glock 42, some want the Glock 19 profile but thinner, etc.) It is 6+1. Once the causal issues seemed to have cleared up a bit and the aftermarket magazine capacity had been addressed, I started looking at the Glock 43 casually, renting one at the range and putting a box of ammunition inside. I like it but I don't feel the need to buy it right away.

Glock 43 Review: Ultimate Concealed Carry Gun

Luckily, about a year ago, a member of a local firearms forum put the Glock 43 up for sale. I looked online but couldn't find the courage to buy it. Surprisingly, despite the low price ($430, I think), no one bought it. When the seller dropped the price to $415 and trashed the third magazine, I immediately contacted him and negotiated a deal. The gun is brand new; The seller said he fired a total of three magazines (18 rounds) because he bought two Glock 43s - he kept one - and basically test-fired. The inside of the gun is clean, there are no marks on the barrel, and the inside is still coated with the copper-colored anti-seize oil Glock uses at the factory. The seller even covers the transfer fee to a local FFL!

It took me a while to load the mandatory 500 rounds into this pistol because I was focused on other things. However, now that my round count on this Glock has reached that number, I feel like I can give my overall impressions.

In terms of reliability, I have yet to experience any malfunctions with the Glock 43. I bought a few magazines with Speer Gold Dot 124-grain +P, as well as other combinations of Sellier and Bellot, Fiocchi, Blazer Brass and Freedom Ammunition 124-grain FMJ followed by some brands of 115-grain FMJ (Winchester and Blazer Brass). I haven't tried steel or aluminum bullets so far.

Glock 43 Magazine 8 Round

In the accuracy section, our Facebook followers saw this photo of me successfully passing the Dot Torture 3 yards:

Why The Glock Model 48 Is Ideal For Smaller Cops

I also often do a kind of walk-back exercise where I shoot 5 lap groups on a 3×5 card, trying to keep all my shots on the card as I walk backwards. So far, my best results have been keeping all shots off 15 yards, which is pretty good for me and similar to how I've thrown my other Glocks. I've shot 25 yards many times in the 43 and I'm still struggling but I do it with all my pistols. I've seen photographic evidence that Kyle Defoor put a ten-shot group number on a B-8 repair center in the '90s, so the pistol is definitely capable.

I've seen some people online complaining about the excessive recoil of this little pistol. Of course, a smaller and thinner bezel and a lighter Glock 19 would cause a stronger and/or different recoil effect. However, I find myself somewhat sensitive to recoil (for example, I don't like shooting the .40 S&W Glock) and I don't find the Glock 43's recoil bad.

In terms of fit and finish, I had no real issues with the Glock 43. Mine has the "gray" color slide so common on 4th Gen (and later 3rd Gen) Glocks (not a more Teflon-like "frying pan" coating on some of the previous models) and some scratches/creeps and "wear" shows, but the coating looks quite durable and trouble-free. I also like the Generation 4 style magazine release, which I can easily reach with the (right) thumb of my shooting hand.

Finally, we should mention concealability because that's what this pistol is all about. If he visits the Glock website and looks at the various sizes of the Glock 43 and compares it to other Glock models, he can see that there isn't much of a difference with the Glock 26. 43 is narrower - only 4mm. and about 4 ounces lighter (according to Glock's official website). However, the nature of the Glock pistol lineup is that there really isn't much difference between "adjacent" models (Glock 26 vs. Glock 19, Glock 19 vs. Glock 17, etc). In fact, some suggest to "skip" models when purchasing multiple Glocks (for example, buy 43, 19 and 34, skip 26 and 17).

Ets 9 Round Magazine For Glock 43

Despite what the numbers say, I found the Glock 43 to hide much easier than any of the dual-stack models. It's so light it's almost unnoticeable, and although only slightly thinner than the Glock 26, those few millimeters seem to make a big difference. That said, the Glock 43 remains a belt-mounted option for me. Unless you have large pockets AND are not worried about carrying a percussion pistol in your pocket unlike me, the Glock 43 is probably best carried "conventionally". I've explored some more in-depth storage options for the 43, but that's for a different article. So far, I've only seriously taken the AIWB in a kydex holster designed this way.

I'm not against changes if they improve my overall performance/usability, but I prefer the "more is more" approach. As a result, the changes I've made so far include new sights, a new slide lock/release, and magazine capacity issues.

For sights, I wear the same sights that my other Glocks now wear.

Not a fan of all the Pro-Mag products, but this one works. Bought a pair, tried them on and had no problems. Try to make a jam with different types of ammunition, no problem with feeding and firing. Recommend this to anyone. At half the price of a factory Glock mag, this is fantastic.

Stl File Glock 43, 43x, 48 Rmsc Cover Plate

For almost the same price, take the time to find a Glock brand magazine. Pro mags seat badly and are prone to jamming. All my standard glock magazines work fine. I did not expect such poor quality.

I have a bunch of GLK-13 10 round mags and I'm good with this one but it just doesn't fit and it goes straight to the feed ramp and falls out by itself also the last round keeps opening it can't engage because the fit doesn't go high enough into the weapon because of the catch the mag is actually a few mm too high up on the mag itself

This product looks bad, the holes make no sense because they don't match the balls, also the belly doesn't fit like the factory, it has inches of clearance when it's installed and moved. I do not recommend this product. Given 2 stars because it works ok despite the problems listed.

Works fine. The bottom plate is not as solid as the Glock Brand Mags, but this is a good value and works

Glock 43 Magazine Extension - I carry a Glock 43 a lot and was looking for the right extension that would allow me to carry a few extra rounds but also feel comfortable in the hand. It was very easy to install using hte video from this page. The new factory magazines may give you a little trouble, but with a little extra force you can remove the bottom plate. I would recommend this to anyone with hands larger than the 43 was designed for and doing a few extra rounds.

I recently purchased a Glock 43 and went to a Glock shop to have the firearm serviced. One of the mods is a +2 extension for multiple magazines. This is a very well made piece and once you put it all together you can feel the quality. Getting the spring into the seat was a bit tricky. However, once that's done, all you have to do is screw the back. The only issue is that the new magazine will not fit in your gun if you have a stock frame insert installed. I would take that new +2 extension on the frame tab, but that could be solved with a short screw.

My use with SS80/G43 that has a retaining plug insert, so at first the black 6-32 screw plug fits in and won't go. The piece was only half erect and rigid. So I ordered a 6-32 bottom plug and used a pin to hold it down to 3/4 back the screw hole. Be sure to use top lube or a micro dot of gun butter when typing. Once pressed, the set screw was fully seated and with a drop of 222 Loctite and about 2 turns left to prevent the mag from slipping, there was enough room to properly seat and lock the mag. Easy fix and hopefully GS. It can be deeply modified during the production process.

Use it on G43. It also received additional force springs. The trick is to do it, but once it's done, it stays there. It adds weight. Mag 8 is as heavy as the rest of the weapons. It's good for me. The added weight in the hand and the new tungsten guide rod make all the difference to the accuracy of this excellent pistol. I use this setup for raiding at 25 feet. To buy it, I put a factory Glock extended mag in there to put it down. I am very glad that I have the right to shoot guns in America.
